1. Service Overview

All work is provided remotely; no tasks will be performed in person. Currently, this offer is only valid to Canadian clients with businesses located in Canada.

  • Please note: some illustrations and character designs may take longer depending on complexity, edits, and revisions.
     

What’s Not Included:
3D modelling, animation, video editing, document design, complex packaging, extensive print media (books, magazines, website design, etc.). If it’s not listed here and you are curious, feel free to ask.

 

3. Requests & Workflow

Design requests are submitted via email on a first-come basis. Depending on your plan, you may submit one or two design requests at a time. Turnaround time expectations: 24–48 hours (or less for standard requests).
Larger projects may require additional time.
 

4. Revisions

If a revision is requested, please submit an email request.
No limit on revisions; however, please note that each request takes time. 

 

5. Turnaround & Availability

General turnaround is within regular business hours.
Business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
Statutory holidays: the business will be closed. Time off/Personal holiday closures will be notified via email with advance notice.

 

6. Client Responsibilities

• Each business is responsible for all final artwork approvals before providing deliverables to their own clients.

• This includes checking images, colours, spelling, grammar, punctuation, phone numbers, web addresses, and emails. 

• Placeholder text may be used in draft designs.

• Clients will provide all design assets (logos, fonts, brand guidelines, etc.).

• Clients retain the rights to artwork for completed designs.

• Raw Media Inc. is not responsible for verifying whether the supplied artwork is legally obtained.
   

 

7. Ownership & Rights

Completed designs are owned by the client once delivered and paid in full.
Designer retains the right to use work in portfolio only with expressed written permission from the client or a member of their staff. [EDIT: clarified wording for professionalism]
Stock assets (fonts, photos, illustrations) may be licensed, not owned.
 

Note that many digital licenses are project-specific and limited by usage/viewers. If you wish to reuse assets, the client is responsible for renewing or repurchasing rights.

 

8. Payments & Billing

• Subscription fees are prepaid monthly.

• All design work will pause if payment is outstanding. 

• 10% discount is available for accounts that purchase quarterly.
   

 

9. Pausing / Cancelling

• Pausing or cancelling subscriptions is acceptable.

• Quarterly prepaid clients may pause their account and resume when required.

• If canceling your subscription, at least 2 weeks’ notice is required.

• Please allow enough time for the completion of outstanding requests. If requests are delayed due to pending client approvals, they may be completed by extending into the next month or billed at the hourly rate.

• Plan prices may increase over time; pausing instead of cancelling protects against price increases.

• Paused accounts may remain paused for up to 6 months. If you resume within this period, your current subscription rate will be maintained. If you do not resume within 6 months, your account will be subject to the updated subscription rates at the time of reactivation.

• Pauses or cancellations must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the start of a new month; they take effect on the last business day of the month.

• No rollover credits.

• No refunds.

 

10. Confidentiality

I agree to keep project details confidential unless written permission is provided by the client or their staff.

 

11. Limitations of Service

Designer is not liable for printing errors, third-party issues, or misuse of designs.
No guarantee of specific outcomes (sales, performance, etc.).
Work is limited to design, not strategy, unless specified.

Terms may be updated without notice.
